The 3M Littmann Cardiology III stethoscope provides

design offers a patented diaphragm on each side of the chestpiece. The
large side can be used for adult patients, while the small side is
especially useful for pediatric or thin patients, around bandages, and
carotid assessment.

Tunable technology provides convenience, versatility and enhanced
acoustics. Its dual-frequency diaphragm combines both bell
(low-frequency) and diaphragm (high-frequency) modes in one chestpiece
side. You control bell and diaphragm modes by pressure on the
chestpiece rather than turning it over. Featured is both an adult and
pediatric-sided chestpiece, each incorporated with a tunable diaphragm.
This innovative design allows you to use both sides of the stethoscope
for monitoring high- and low-frequency sounds.
Bell Mode: (low-frequency)
Use light contact with tunable chestpiece to hear low frequency sounds.
Diaphragm Mode: (high-frequency)
Without turning the chestpiece over, use firm pressure to hear high-frequency sounds. |
