Welcome to the launch of 5.11 Tactical Station Wear. 5.11 Tactical is well established as the leading brand in the Law Enforcement market and provides complete head-to-toe apparel, footwear, outerwear and more. Our roots go back 30 years to the outdoor origins of the 5.11 Tactical Pant, which was (and still is) the issued pant of the FBI National Academy. 5.11 Tactical has been built on the principle of working directly with our operators (end users) to develop product that exceeds their needs, is functionally innovative and a great value. That’s where you come in.
During our routine product development meetings, we’ve been exposed to more and more Fire and EMS professionals who’s Station Wear needs simply aren’t being met. Originally, it was a SWAT Paramedic who ‘opened our eyes’ to the fact that Fire and EMS wasn’t being served. That got us headed down this path, and after multiple product development meetings and almost two years of R&D we’re proud to introduce a line of Station Wear that has been developed with the direct involvement of Fire and EMS professionals just like you.We heard A LOT of feedback: ideas, gripes, concepts, etc. One of the biggest gripes we heard about current station wear was about the time wasted getting T-shirts from one shop, job shirts from another, pants from another and then the time spent getting them embroidered, printed, etc. The other big gripe we heard was about fading. Oh, boy, did we hear about fading… We’ve listened to these questions and we have answers.
Nobody likes to waste time, so this collection offers Fire and EMS professionals a complete range of Station Wear, all available from one place: Pants, Polos, Job Shirts, T-Shirts, Boots plus Turnout Bags and more. Naturally, this product launch covers the essentials and we look forward to additions to this product collection.Nobody likes faded uniforms, so we’ve worked closely with our textile mills to develop 100% cotton fabric that won’t fade, shrink or wrinkle. This Fade-Free Cotton is available on our Station Pants, Cargo Pants, Responder Polo and Pro3 T-shirt styles. Our Job Shirts, EMS Pants and Station Jackets feature a fade-resistant blend of poly-cotton fabric.Everybody likes bags. You have a lot of gear to haul, and different kinds of gear to haul. So we’ve developed a full range of bags, backpacks and more – all with the direct involvement of Fire and EMS pros. Our bags are available in two collections; a Turnout collection with removable liners, the 5.11 LockJaw™ opening and waterproof tarpaulin bottoms and our RED Collection built for the more prudent pocketbook.
