This new 5.11 Tactical® eyewear style is designed,
manufactured, and tested by Wiley X® and achieve
industry-leading standards through their precision manufacturing and
state-of-the-art quality control.
The durability of the Wiley X® frame material is
legendary. Some customers have reported their eyewear remaining intact
and functional even after being run over!
Lenses far exceed ANSI Z87.1 safety and ANSI
Z80.3 optical standards. Smoke lenses provide maximum glare
reduction, won't distort colors, and are excellent in bright/glare
conditions.

provides scratch resistance and resist cracking and crazing.
- SeleniteTM
poly carbonate is die-cut to produce lenses without distortion from any
angle and is ten times more impact resistance than glass or resin
lenses.
- Frames are built with GrilamidTM
TR-90, a homo polyamide nylon characterized by an extremely
high alternative bending strength, low density, and high resistance to
chemical and UV damage. They are virtually indestructible.
